  • Moisture Content: 0.5% Max.
  • Applications: Rigid and flexible PVC products, e.g., profiles, pipes, cables, etc.

Product Description:

SN-320 is a powerful heat stabilizer for rigid and flexible PVC, providing excellent weather resistance. It is ideal for applications requiring superior UV radiation absorption and enhanced weathering resistance. SN-320 is modified to improve its antioxidant activity and coated with specialty chemicals to prevent moisture absorption and ensure easy dispersion in PVC resin.

Functional Behavior and Salient Features:

  • SN-320 is an excellent stabilizer for plasticized and rigid PVC fabricated by injection moulding, extrusion, or calendaring processes.
  • SN-320 is suitable for products exposed to sunlight and extreme weather conditions, e.g., irrigation pipes and window profiles. Its absence of ionic and ionizable constituents makes it highly suitable for electrical applications such as cable coverings and telephone ducts.
  • It is recommended to be used in combination with SN-310 in all its applications.
  • SN-320, in combination with SN-310, provides an ideal solution for heat and weather resistance.

Dosage:

3-5 phr depending upon the co-use of other stabilizers and service conditions of the article.

Packing:

25 KG in laminated HDPE bags

Handling and Storage:

  • Use hand gloves and dust masks while handling SN-320.
  • In case of fire, use sand and inorganic chemical-based fire extinguishers.
  • Ensure that SN-320 does not come in contact with food items.
  • Store SN-320 in well-ventilated, cool places away from hot surfaces and direct sunlight.
  • Partially used bags of SN-320 must be closed/sealed promptly.
